Ingredients
For the Twists

1 sheet of puff pastry (ready-rolled, chilled, ~320g)

1 tbsp melted butter (or plant-based alternative)

2 tbsp sugar (caster or light brown)

¼ tsp PureXtracts Cinnamon Dry Extract (adjust to taste)

1 tbsp milk (for brushing, optional)
For the Chocolate Dipping Sauce

100g dark or milk chocolate (chopped)

80ml double cream (or coconut cream for vegan option)

½ tsp Cardamom extract (optional)
Method

Prepare the pastry:

Preheat oven to 200°C (180°C fan) / Gas 6.

Unroll the puff pastry sheet onto a lightly floured surface.

Make the cinnamon sugar:

Mix sugar and PureXtracts Cinnamon Dry Extract in a small bowl.

Brush pastry with melted butter, then sprinkle evenly with the cinnamon sugar mix.

Shape the twists:

Fold pastry in half lengthwise and lightly press down.

Slice into strips (about 2 cm wide).

Twist each strip several times and place on a lined baking tray.

Bake:

Brush tops with milk for extra golden shine.

Bake for 12–15 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
