Fresh, crunchy, colourful and packed with flavour — this anti-inflammatory slaw makes the perfect light lunch, side dish, or BBQ salad.

🥗 Ingredients

  • 2 cups red cabbage, finely shredded
  • 2 large carrots, julienned or grated
  • 3 spring onions, finely sliced
  • 1 cup edamame beans
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • Fresh coriander or mint (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp 4 Spice Extract

✨ Ginger-Lime Dressing

  • 2 tbsp olive oil or sesame oil
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp Ginger Extract
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Small pinch of 4 Spice Extract

👩🍳 Method

  1. Add the cabbage, carrots, spring onions and edamame into a large bowl.
  2. In a small bowl or jar, whisk together all dressing ingredients until combined.
  3. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss well until evenly coated.
  4. Sprinkle over sesame seeds and fresh herbs if using.
  5. Serve immediately for extra crunch, or chill for 15–20 minutes for deeper flavour.
